Scheme drawings get revised, changed, and developed as many times necessary to come about a refined design. All drawings are available to you for any presentation purposes you may have, or they are able to help in this if required. Chapple Architecture identify any district scheme issues, and can compile a resource consent application if required, or for more complicated projects work with a planning consultant.

Detailed Documentation & Specification

Chapple Architecture will prepare full detailed documentation and comprehensive specifications. Chapple Architecture are fully conversant with the current building codes, district scheme, local bylaws, and New Zealand Standards. Chapple Architecture liaise competently and professionally with other consultants, (Structural Engineers for example) as required in developing necessary documentation for a project.

Consent lodgement & Tender process

With years of experience of lodging building consents, Chapple Architecture pride themselves on putting together a thorough set of documents for appropriate Building Consent Authority (BCA). Chapple Architecture answer any questions that arise, and they work on your behalf to get the consent seamlessly through the process.

Chapple Architecture can completely manage the tendering process, including putting a package together comparing the various tenders, depending on your specific needs.

Contract administration

Chapple Architecture can supervise the building through construction and administer the contract through to handover. Our contract of choice is NZS 3910, and the duties performed such includes organising site meetings and minutes, issue instructions and variations, prepare payment certificates, and manage defects and liability lists. Being involved throughout the construction helps it run smoothly, and achieve a high quality of finish, with less stress for you, the client.
