The clients requested a solid, strong and proud house, with function following form. The house features timber exterior joinery, schist, solid plaster over polystyrene block, and Shiplap Cedar. Main glazing for the first floor is directly north, providing views over Palmerston North and beyond, attracting maximum sunlight.
